Similar Figures 7th Grade

Step 1:

Create Original Avatar

Step 2:

Apply one scale factor that makes a LARGER similar figure (ex: 2x,2y)

Step 3:

Apply one enlargement that makes an IMPOSTER

(ex: x, 5y)

Step 4:

Apply one scale factor that makes a SMALLER similar figure (ex: 1/2x, 1/2y)

Requirements:

• 4 figures drawn
• At least 4 points for each figure (labeled on drawing or in a table)
• Label each figure with the RULE
